CrossGov Will Participate in European Maritime Spatial Planning Week: Advancing Policy Coherence Across Europe’s Seas
This year marks a milestone in Europe’s maritime governance—ten years since the adoption of the EU Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) Directive on 23 July 2014. To celebrate this achievement and reflect on the progress made, the European Maritime Spatial Planning Week (MSP Week) will bring together stakeholders from industry, civil society, public institutions, and academia.
The event series offers a unique space to:
- Reflect on achievements in MSP across European sea basins
- Discuss current policy landscapes and challenges
- Strategise the next steps for more effective and coherent marine governance
In addition, the MSP-Green and REGINA-MSP projects will host their joint final conference, offering even more opportunities for insight, exchange, and collaboration.
All events will be hybrid, making it possible to join either in person or online.
🌊 CrossGov’s Contribution
CrossGov will be an active contributor to MSP Week, with partners from the CNR-ISMAR Institute of Marine Sciences sharing key insights from our work on policy coherence in marine governance.
